About KBA
The Kentucky Beverage Association (KBA) is the trade association for Kentucky's
Soft Drink Industry, serving the public and its members since 1917.
Few products are as closely associated with American ingenuity, enterprise and
culture as soft drinks. The industry not only shared in, but was part of the
industrial revolution. Soft drinks helped maintain the country's morale during the
Depression and spread American spirit among the troops during wartime.
Soft drinks bring people together and are one of the important elements that bind
American enterprise and culture into a system envied the world over. Soft drinks are
a good part of America.
KBA's mission is to promote the development, preservation, and operation and general
welfare of the soft drink industry in Kentucky. KBA represents soft drink
bottlers, franchise companies and support industries in Kentucky. KBA represents its
members on the federal, and state levels of government.
KBA provides a forum in which members convene to consider issues of interest, while
maintaining their traditional spirited competition in the marketplace. The Association
also serves as a liaison between the industry, public, and provides a unified voice in
legislative and regulatory matters.
